Director of Route Setting: Jon Brock

Jonathan started climbing by taking a class at Unity College in Maine and was immediately hooked. Over the next 4 years he climbed all over New England doing sport, trad, and bouldering. Jonathan started working at MetroRock North in Newburyport in 2015 and hasn't looked back. “I’ve found that MetroRock has the best community of climbers that are supportive and encouraging.” Now working as the Head Routesetter of Everett, Jonathan feels that setting is a way to give back to the community. Jonathan is primarily a sport climber but enjoys almost every aspect of climbing.
